Sen Home Teacher

We are recruiting SEN Tutors for Young People with SEND and other additional needs in WALSALL

At SMART Education our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK, and you will be supported throughout every placement by our fantastic Home Tuition account managers who have a background working in schools with young people.

This role would be well suited for qualified SEN teachers who are eager to support children and young people on a 1: 1 basis with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible and empathetic way to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role:

This role could be providing core subjects to children and young people or you could be mentoring and building self esteem and confidence or a combination of both!

These young people are referred to us by local authorities and schools and will require some level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey

SEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities:

Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring

You will get Planning and Preparation time with each referral to support you in developing dynamic and creative lessons.

Providing the young person with engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational journey.

Completing weekly reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress half termly.
