SalaryTimeplan is currently working with a fantastic Specialist SEN School based in the Wokingham Area. The school caters for students who have struggled within mainstream settings. The majority of the students are post ECHP with a diaognosis of autism and associated difficulites including emotionally based school avoidance. The students ages range from 11 to 16 years of age.
The school, based in Wokingham, is now looking for an experienced SEN Teacher that is able to support a small class of 6-8 students who are working towards sitting their Maths GCSE's. However, if you have experience of teaching any of the Sciences this would be a clear advantage.
Teacher requirements
- QTS
- Temp to Perm role
- Experience of teaching ASD students ( ideal but not essential)
- Specialising in Maths (some knowledge of the English or the Sciences would be an advantage)
- Current Enhanced DBS check or willing to undergo checks
- Full time availability Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 4.30pm (Friday 8.30 to 1.30pm
