SEN Primary Teacher

£120 - £130 per day - Salary is depending on experience

Vision for Education are recruiting for a SEN Primary Teacer for a SEND school in North Liverpool. This is a full time, long term role which will start in September 2024 and could result in a permanent contract from the setting.
About the Role:
As our English Lead Practitioner, you will:
- Teach English at the GCSE level.
- Coordinate, set, and deliver entry-level and functional skills examinations from Entry 1 through to Level 1.
- Provide leadership and support within the English department to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support student achievement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and manage the administration of examinations and assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in SEN Settings - ASD/ADHD/Communication Strategies/Behaviour support/Sensory Processing.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience of teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
