A creative and friendly Primary school in Croydon are on the hunt for multiple SEN Primary Teaching Assistants to join their 'Outstanding' Primary school to start ASAP.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support schools in providing care and support to children with a range of Special Needs and behavioural difficulties within the Education/Special Needs sector. Working with children with SEN would mean that you would be supporting the children more so with different aspects of learning for example this could be with behaviour issues, self-expression, sensory work, reading and writing, life skills.
Ideal Candidate - SEN Primary Teaching Assistant
- Able to commit to the full academic year is essential
- Degree from a reputable University
- Must have a caring, forward-thinking, and creative personality
- Passion to work with children with SEND/additional needs
- Experience working with children with SEN
The Role - SEN Primary Teaching Assistant
- Establishing supportive relationships with the pupil concerned and promoting the acceptance and inclusion of the pupil with SEN
- Supervising group activities and 1:1 sessions
- Adapting appropriate materials for lessons
- Provide support to pupils across KS1 & KS2
- £95 - £110 per day
