Your new role
Hays Education is working closely with 2 schools in Coventry who are looking for SEN Specialists to start immediately. There are five jobs available, all of which will require you to support children with complex needs on either a 1:1 or small group basis. The child/ren you will work with will have EHCP plans to follow, you will also liaise with their external agencies.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You must be a confident, bubbly, friendly and patient Teaching Assistant. As this role will be working with children with complex needs, you must have experience working in an SEN setting. Whether that be in an SEN school or a mainstream school supporting children with SEN. Ideally, you will have worked with children with ASD, ADHD, non-verbal and those that display challenging behaviours. Ideally, you will be qualified in childcare, but this is not compulsory. Please note that YOU MUST have experience for this job.
