Role Overview: As an Attendance Officer, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and improving student attendance. You will work closely with school staff, parents, and students to identify attendance issues and implement effective strategies to encourage regular attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily attendance and follow up on unexplained absences.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and generate reports.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding attendance concerns.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to develop attendance improvement plans.
- Provide support and guidance to students to promote regular attendance.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
