Academics are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work five days a week, at a lovely, primary school, in Cardiff.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working in education, happy to prepare lessons when required to do so and is flexible

The role is from February 2024 and for the duration of the academic year

The role of an SEN TA

• Assist the teacher in delivering successful lessons
• Work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Build and maintain professional relationships with other staff members
• Be a role model to all pupils
• Plan occasional lessons
• Be responsible for class on occasions

What we need from you

• An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
