Sen Teacher

Vision for Education - Cardiff is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers to join our team, working in SEN Schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRU) across Swansea. About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the abilities and needs of all students.
• Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Employ innovative teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with SEN in a school or PRU setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
