SEN Teacher Job in High Peak

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience working with children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH? If so, we would love to hear from you!
We are recruiting a specialist primary and secondary school supporting children with autism and associated social and communication needs in a bespoke and nurturing environment. Our specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists and educationalists work seamlessly together to provide high-quality teaching and learning for our students. We also offer a strong performing arts curriculum and an outdoor learning programme to enhance our students' creativity and wellbeing.
We are looking for an SEN Teacher who can:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs and abilities of our students
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support learning and progress
• Assess and monitor students' attainment and progress and provide feedback and guidance
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our students
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters self-esteem, resilience and respect
• Follow the school's policies and procedures and uphold the school's vision and values

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience of teaching children with SEN, preferably in a specialist setting
• Knowledge and understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and the National Curriculum
• A commitment to continuous professional development and learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
