Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a experienced SEND Teacher to join this Primary SEN school starting in March. This is a full time, long-term role for the remainder of the academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.
The School:
The Primary SEN school houses pupils with challenging behaviour, and the associated learning disabilities. The School is well equipped to provide the best education possible. You will have access to sensory rooms, amongst other helpful tools for pupils with high autism needs.
They are also located a short walk form the Jubilee #Line and Overground.

As a SEND teacher you will be responsible for the below:
- Planning and assessing pupils with Autism.
- Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
- Support behaviour by following the children's plans
- Updating and setting targets for children.
- Working alongside Speech and Language Therapist
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold previous experience working within SEND
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
