Sen Teacher

REED Education are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at an SEN school within Macclesfield. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of our students, and will have the skills and experience to effectively support their learning and development.

Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering high-quality and engaging lessons that meet the needs of individual students with special educational needs.
Assessing students' progress and providing regular feedback to parents/guardians and other teaching staff.
Developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and other support plans for students.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of all students.
Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience for all students.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
A teaching qualification that meets QTS standards.
At least 2 years of experience teaching in an SEN setting.
Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning.
A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
