The School - SEN Teacher - Post 16- Uxbridge, Hillingdon
Academics are supporting a fantastic SEN college based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon, to find a SEN Teacher - Post 16 for the rest of the Academic year and going forward. The college are looking for a teacher who is experienced and confident supporting Post 16 students with a range of complex learning difficulties and special needs.
The college itself is set in a new building with up to date facilities to best support the students that it caters for. There is a genuinely warm and caring environment and staff who work there feel valued and supported in their roles.
The Candidate - SEN Teacher - Post 16- Uxbridge, Hillingdon
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or another relevant teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching students with Special educational needs
- Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment
- Able to tailor lessons based on each child's individual needs
About the Role - SEN Teacher - Post 16 - Uxbridge, Hillingdon
- You will be responsible for teaching a small class of around 6-12 students with special educational needs (Autism, Complex Needs)
- You will use resources to help each student understand and engage in lessons.
- You will have additional support in the classroom from other support staff.
- You will plan and deliver effective lessons using the UK curriculum.
