Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary School Based)

Key stage 1 – year 1

Location: Oldham, OL3

Days/Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8.30 – 15.30)

Job Description:-

GSL are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist primary school in Oldham, OL3. The job is starting ASAP and for the right individual it will extend to the next academic year.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant

• Building secure relationships with children
• Understanding of the specific needs of the children
• Support pupils with social and emotional needs
• Working 1:1 with the pupil

About You:

• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity
• Desirable experience: Care work, working in a PRU, SEMH experience
