Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant: Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special education needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere that promotes the social and emotional development of all students. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and a holistic approach to student development Requirements needed to become a Teaching Assistant: Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this) You will have GCSE grades of A-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent ) A compassionate and patient demeanour.
