SEN Teaching Assistant

*** September 2024- July 2025
*** Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to pupils with slight Autism and ADHD.
*** ’Outstanding’ primary school.
Requirements:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related subject.
• A passion for the education and wellbeing of SEN children.
• Commitment to following safeguarding procedures and policies.
• A natural ability to build strong bonds with young children.
• Some understanding of additional learning needs.
• Previous experience of working with pupils, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Role:
• Assessing classwork and monitoring pupil progress.
• Formulating personalised support strategies.
• Providing high-quality support to pupils in the school’s inclusion unit.
• Participating in staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
Assisting teaching staff in various tasks, including the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
