SEN Teaching Assistant (Aspiring Primary Teacher)
Role Summary - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:20 am - 3:50 pm + paid overtime
- Contracted position for the academic year 2024/2025, starting in September 2024
- Ideal for recently qualified graduates (Psychology, Education Studies, Drama etc) - Mentorship, experience & key exposure for kickstarting a stronger career
- Supporting class teacher with classroom maintenance e.g. Literacy, Numeracy, Curriculum review, etc
- 1:1 & group support of students with SEN & SEMH (ASD, Behavioural Needs, Anxiety etc)
- KS1 - KS2
- Teacher Training with QTS (Alternative to PGCE) - depending on experience

Pay: SEN Teaching Assistant
- £425 - £490/week paid through PAYE
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- Temporary Contract to Permanent Contract
The Successful Candidate: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Strong academic background (Degree, A-Levels, GCSEs, B-Tec, Level 3 etc)
- Prior experience e.g. Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, Tutor etc
- Empathetic & ambitious with a willingness to learn
- Aspiring Primary Teacher with an interest in supporting students
