Address Axcis Education are working with a mainstream primary school in East Cornwall who have an Area Resource Base (ARB) as part of the school. The school are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support within their ARB on a full time basis. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 3.15, term time only. The school's ARB is a 20 placement provision for children aged 4 - 11 years, with severe and complex needs. The children are taught a broad and balanced curriculum which aims to promote the academic, spiritual, moral, cultural, emotional and physical development of all children. The children have full access to the National Curriculum, including the Foundation Stage, through relevant and stimulating lessons which enable every child to reach their full potential. To apply for this full time SEN support role, you should have had experience supporting individuals with severe and complex needs, for example autism, down syndrome, ASD, global delay and others. Previous experience working in a school environment would be advantageous but not essential. You should be of a kind and caring nature, with the ability to use your own initiative and think on your feet. INDJOBS
