Salary: £85 - £100 per day
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you become the enchanting assistance in the realm of education. Your role involves closely collaborating with teachers, aiding in lesson planning and delivery, managing the classroom effectively, and contributing to the creation of a joyful and inclusive learning environment. The working hours are 8.30 till 15.30 with a great work life balance.
What do you need to be a Teaching Assistant?
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with children
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and a sincere passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Assist the classroom teacher with general admin tasks throughout the day
- Work on a 1-1 basis with students or support small groups that may need extra assistance
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including but not limited to: autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities
- Aid the classroom teacher in setting up various activities
- Helping lunch duties and assist students during break time
- Encourage active participation and engagement in lessons
- An enhanced working with children DBS or the ability to apply for one
- An up to date CV with most recent experience
- Be based in South East London, within commutable areas
- Able to provide police check from countries you have lived in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years
