Start Date: Immediate start

Salary: £85 to £95 per day Depending on experience

TeacherActive is proud to be working within a diverse Special Educational Needs and Disability/ SEND school based in Bradford. The school is a nurturing safe space for pupils to develop their skills. The School values their students and wants them to have a voice through a personalised approach to the curriculum based on each pupils need due to the school catering for a wide range of disabilities such as PMLD, autism, communication difficulties and physical difficulties.

The School is looking to take on an engaging and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate would have experience working with students aged 2 to 11 years old. Someone who understands personal care is a requirement due to the nature of the students difficulties.

The Successful SEND primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment
• A caring and supportive nature
• A flexible approach to students learning styles
• Have experience of working with SEND students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Happy to give a strong level of personal care to the students
