NG Teach are working with a number of schools across Nottingham who are looking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistants. These contracts vary in length, some being part time and some being full time.
Ideal candidates must have:
Experience working 1:1 or in a classroom with SEN pupils
A strong understanding of Autism and the complex needs of students with Autism
The desire to inspire and motivate pupils of the school
Adaptability and be willing to undertake a range of tasks
Successful candidates will be able to work as part of a team and also lead 1:1 sessions with challenging pupils. They must show strong will and determinism to make a difference to the lives and education of these pupils.
Safeguarding and other SEN qualification or certificates are desirable but not essential. These posts involve working with pupils of varying ages from 4-18.
Some positions may involve giving personal care to a certain degree for the right candidate.
