The School and Role
We are seeking to appoint outstanding and energetic Work Coach to join our team at our NEW SCHOOL in Brighton.
Your role will be to work under the direct instruction of teaching staff and the Headteacher, providing 1 to 1 and small group coaching in a range of settings; college placements, Work Experience and learning interventions.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, with an understanding of and commitment to children with complex behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.
As a dedicated Work Coach, you will be required to work full time, term time only. Working with this particular school, you will be working with very friendly and caring staff. The school caters for children from age 11 to 16.
Requirements:
The desired Work Coach will;
- Be patient, empathetic and have a calm manner
- Be a good communicator
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
- Have experience working with children who have special needs
