This role will be working from home but IT equipment will be needed to picked up from County Hall, Preston

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated team member who has an inclusive approach to special educational needs and wants to help the children and young people of Lancashire achieve their full potential in education, learning and future employment. You will be able to support the council to fulfil its statutory duties in relation to children and young people with special educational needs.
SEND Plan writers will support the inclusion service with the Education Health Care Needs assessments for children, young people and families to ensure these are carried out within statutory timescales. The role will focus on the completion of new plans to a high standard. We work closely with other teams within the Inclusion Service and with other services in the Directorate to ensure assessment processes are coherent, comprehensive, and transparent and involve children, young people and their parents/carers.
