• Role: Resource-Based Teacher
• Focus: Year 7 students with moderate learning difficulties
• Start Date: September 2024

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Flexibility: Adapt and provide support as needed while the school grows.
• Resource Base Teaching: Teach in our 35-place resource base, covering students from Year 7 to Year 11.
• Collaboration: Work in partnership with staff across the entire school community.
• MLD Excellence: Contribute to building our reputation for excellent Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) provision, fully integrated within our school community.
• Regular Liaison: Maintain regular communication with the school’s SENDco and the Resource Base Lead (when appointed).
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrate effectiveness as a classroom practitioner with high expectations for student achievement and behavior.
• Inspiration and Drive: Inspire and drive standards within the base provision.
• Emotional Intelligence: Be approachable and emotionally intelligent, fostering positive communication.
• Continuous Improvement: Embrace our ethos of continuous improvement by developing your own practice.
