SEND Teaching Assistant

The school is looking to take on a motivated SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting after easter this year (15/04/2023). The successful SEND teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 – 19yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

The SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND TA will have:

• SEND teaching experience.
• A good knowledge of the national curriculum.
• The initiative, ability and desire to deliver fun and engaging lessons.
• The ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils.
• The ability to deal with challenging behaviour.
