Vision for Education is looking to appoint a new SEN Teaching Assistant to join the already successful team, working with primary schools in West Cornwall. The role will be to start in January.
About the role
Vision for Education are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a range of schools supporting students with special needs across Hayle, St Ives and Penzance.
The role:
- You will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to support the delivery of quality learning
- You will be required to provide support for students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom
- You will need to prepare and adapt materials suitable for pupils with learning difficulties to use in class
About the school
- You will be working in a range of schools in West Cornwall
- The schools cater for EYFS year 6
- Class sizes will vary, and students will be placed in classes on age and ability
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a desire to work and support young people with special educational needs
- Have a caring, positive, and flexible attitude
- Understand the needs of students with learning difficulties
- Be reliable in both attendance and punctuality
