Folk is an inclusive communications agency on a mission to make inclusive comms the norm.
As a Folk Senior Account Manager, you will make a positive contribution to the agency and ensure we deliver results beyond the expectations of our clients with faultless service.
You will work with household UK brands and closely with your Account Director and Account Manager/Executive as part of a dedicated account team on a portfolio of B2B, consumer and public sector clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the activity is always driven forward, consistently meets the clients’ requirements and is always delivered on time and to budget.
As well as taking responsibility for the more senior, strategic aspects of the account management role, you will also help to deliver the required PR and content activity, oversee the work of your Account Manager/Executive and support your Account Director in the planning and strategic direction of the account. You will work closely with your line manager to develop your new business, people management and commercial skills for your development and progression.
You will still play a key role in the campaign delivery, researching, drafting and issuing press releases and statements as well as checking those written by their Account Manager/Executive to ensure quality standards are met. They will regularly identify opportunities for media coverage and social engagement, always going the extra mile to impress the client with new and innovative ideas. They will support the Account Director with setting the client strategy and ensuring all recommended activity meets the strategic objectives.
You will also contribute to the agency’s new business drive, regularly participating in creative ideation sessions and research and preparing specified sections of presentations and proposals.
The client portfolio mix will be diverse and suited to those who care about building inclusion into all of the work they create and working with household UK brands.
The role requires a strong publicist with excellent media relationships.
