Senior Account ManagerLocation: Sawston, Cambridge
Salary: £40k base, with £55k OTE, uncapped

Paxt are pioneers, exploring and developing the most exciting professional audio and musical instrument markets in Africa and the Middle East. We represent many of the industry’s most prestigious music brands, including Allen & Heath, Fender, Focusrite, JBL and Pioneer.

We need an adventurous and experienced sales professional to join our team and own the business development strategy, working hand-in-glove with the CEO and other senior colleagues to help maintain our impressive upward trajectory.  This is a hands-on role with significant opportunities for ownership, development and growth that mirrors our own.

Key Responsibilities

The core areas of responsibility within the role are:

  • Grow our business with the top Musical Instrument/tech resellers in the Middle East & Africa
  • Identify, recruit, measure, and co-ordinate the development of new & exciting resellers
  • Work alongside our marketing team and local representatives to develop effective channel marketing initiatives and a deeper understanding of our unique markets
  • Refine and execute a sales strategy that maximises long term (5 years +) profitability

Experience, attributes and skills

Your attitude, rapport and managerial skills are key for this role. The non-negotiables are:

  • Demonstrable success in a previous account management role
  • A love of music and good understanding of / appreciation for music technology
  • Capable and hungry to travel throughout the Middle East and Africa
  • Gritty and relentless, yet considered and calm
