VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading Public Sector employer based in Ballymena who currently require a Management Accountant to join their team on an interim basis for 3-6 months. If you are a Qualified Accountant, this role would provide the opportunity to gain exposure within the Public Sector, along with having the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.
To be considered for this role, it is essential to be a fully qualified Accountant, with at least 1 years PQE, ideally within a management accounting environment. This opportunity has the potential for an immediate start and as such, interviews are taking place immediately.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 1 year PQE
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
- Management Accountant experience (desirable)
- Strong IT skills (MS Excel in particular)
What you’ll do
- Prepare monthly management accounts in line with schedule
- Prepare journals, accruals & prepayments
- Project accounting
- Liaise with budget holders in cases of over/under spend
- Budget monitoring
