Senior Acoustic Consultant
My client is a high-end acoustic consultancy firm based in the UK. They specialize in architectural, environmental, and industrial acoustics and are in search of a Senior Acoustic Consultant who is driven, motivated, and eager to grow professionally. The candidate should have the ability to make significant contributions to the team. The company offers consultancy services in noise assessment, sound insulation testing, and advanced 3D noise modelling. They provide unmatched solutions to their clients across diverse projects ranging from domestic, commercial, and industrial scale projects throughout the United Kingdom.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or master's degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a focus on acoustics and membership with the Institute of Acoustics are required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in acoustic engineering, including a proven track record of managing complex projects and providing innovative solutions.
- A proven ability to contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and expanding the client base.
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing acoustic engineering, with the ability to ensure project compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, with the ability to effectively consult with clients, present technical findings, and build lasting relationships.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative solutions to address clients' diverse acoustic challenges.
- Lead and manage complex acoustic projects from start to completion, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster professional development and project success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering expert guidance, presenting technical findings, and cultivating strong client relationships.
- Utilise advanced noise assessment techniques, sound insulation testing, and 3D noise modelling software to provide expert analysis and interpretation of acoustic data.
