As part of the global long tail Reserving & Analytics team, you will collaborate with colleagues across Europe, the US, South Africa, Asia, and Australia, striving to improve, simplify, and streamline actuarial processes while leveraging your passion for analytics and business intelligence.
Your responsibilities will include independently performing actuarial reserving analysis, supporting the development of Reserving & analysis models, and leveraging programming and scripting skills to enhance process efficiency. You will also support actuarial diagnostics functions, contribute to the monthly closing process and related reporting, and reconcile IFRS 17 and IFRS 4 views, effectively communicating results to the business.
To excel in this role, you should have between 3-5 years + of actuarial experience in reserving, pricing, or risk modelling, preferably in the P&C sector. Strong skills in data manipulation and processing, familiarity with programming languages such as Python and SQL, and excellent communication skills are essential. You should be a strong collaborator and team player, with the ability to work independently when required.
