Senior Site Agent - Major Highways & Structures Schemes - Tier 1 Contractor

Due to ongoing requirements, one of the largest Tier 1 Construction & Civil Engineering contractors are now recruiting a Senior Site Agent to oversee major highways and structures projects based across the North East. The company have established themselves as one of the most successful top tier contractors, specialising in multiple sectors. Our clients have built an enviable industry name on their specialist team consistently delivering high quality service on £multi-million projects, which has led to a high level of repeat business.

Your new role
As Civils Senior Site Agent, you will be working on major highways and structures projects based across the North East up to £300m.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager and client, you will be responsible for all general work and engineering activities onsite, ensuring that they consistently deliver a high specification through each stage of a project from groundworks to completion, on time and on budget. The successful candidate will work closely with the site personnel to deliver projects to the highest possible standard.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience primarily within the civil engineering sector at a Senior Management level. Highways experience is essential. You should be capable of supervising staff on site with a strong technical ability with some pre-construction planning experience desirable.
Due to the location of projects across the A1 corridor, you must be flexible to travel between Newcastle to Northumberland and be site based 5 days a week.
CSCS, SMSTS are essential.
