This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Senior Agile Scrum Master who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Ensure the established processes are followed and constantly seek improvement. Ensures the DoD (Definition of done) is being followed correctly.
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
Identify and remove roadblocks that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance.
Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time.
Provide training and workshops on Agile principles and practices.
Document Agile processes, guidelines, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Should have experience as an Agile Scrum Master.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
Should have experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
The experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: various Burndown technologies, many Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
Other Key skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent.
Salary: GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum
