We are looking for someone with experience in AIR QUALITY to join our Environmental Health Team. The work will include taking a lead role in the development and production of specialist technical reports on AIR QUALITY, such as the Council’s Air Quality Strategy. It will involve overseeing the implementation of the actions from these reports and monitoring performance through internal approval processes to ensure successful delivery. Providing regular updates on performance both internally through various senior management meetings and Council committees and externally to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) through the Annual Status Report (ASR). The post holder will also provide expert comment to Planning Officers in relation to environmental health matters on planning applications.
To apply for this post, you must be qualified to Degree level in a Science related subject and have extensive relevant experience in air pollution work.
