Senior Amazon Account Manager - E-Commerce
Location: Harrogate
Hybrid working options 3 days in the office Tues - Thurs / 2 days from home
Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 DOE
Our client is a fast growing, creative consumer product company based in North Yorkshire and they are looking to recruit a Senior Amazon Account Manager. The role will be working within the wider ecommerce team and you will be managing the EU Marketplace strategy and the relationship with Amazon for the UK and EMEA region. The role will involve developing the Amazon business, analysing forecasting and sales data, contract negotiations, analysing performance of products across the different markets, and driving opportunities for growth.
You will need to have extensive experience managing Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central accounts, a background in building relationships with Amazon Account Managers, forecasting, business development and have a driven and ambitious approach.
Key duties will include:
- Planning the EU marketplace strategy
- Managing the Amazon accounts through the Vendor Central Portal
- Analysing performance, rankings, ratings and customer reviews.
- Developing ways enhance rankings, performance and sales,
- Developing the joint business plans
- Forecasting across all products and regions
- Focus on driving sales volume growth
- Carrying out regular meetings with Amazon, developing a strong working relationship
- Ensuring maximum return on discretionary spend and costs with Amazon
- Manage the annual trade terms negotiations with Amazon
- Liaise internally with key stakeholders across the business to ensure ecommerce sales and operations runs smoothly
- Communicate ecommerce results to the wider business and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with marketing and sales to develop opportunities in developing ecommerce sales
Requirements for the role:
- Extensive experience managing Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central accounts
- Business Development experience required, with experience in E-Commerce business models (trends, competitors, distribution channels, customer base, promotion, and products) and Digital Marketing a strong plus
- Proven effective relationship builder within Amazon Account Managers in Europe
- Knowledge of best practices for scaling and optimizing an Amazon business including strategy, forecasting, listing / keyword / creative optimization, testing, research, testing, and agency management
- Experience managing additional marketplaces and D2C site management a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
