Job description

As the Senior Analytics Engineer you’re expected to leverage big data to support with the sizing and development of future hospitals. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to the development of a suite of new healthcare analytics products. You will also be expected to support the build of a new suite of products and use your expertise to work collaboratively with the existing Insight team.

The Role and Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our digital team known as Archus Insight. This is dual-focus role where you will be expected to leverage big data to support with the sizing and development of future hospitals. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to the development of a suite of new healthcare analytics products. It’s a very exciting time as Archus Insight prepares to expand into the product market. You will be involved right from the inception phase to support the build of a new suite of products. Archus Insight is a start-up within a thriving consultancy. We are excited about the future and want someone to join our team who can work at pace, establish processes, use scoping technologies, and start to build initial product offerings to improve efficiency within healthcare.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Get onboarded and familiar with Archus
  • Help to build new, scalable ELT pipelines using SQL and dbt
  • Collaborate with other analysts and contribute to product development in Python and Plotly Dash
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve the product and current processes
  • Contribute towards the delivery of analytics projects as part of the consultancy business
