Senior Android Developer
UK - REMOTE
£60,000 - £70,000 + Healthcare + Life Assurance 3x salary + Pension Scheme + 25 days holiday (plus 8 days bank holiday) + Income protection/Sickness pay
This excellent opportunity for a Senior Android Developer to join a cutting edge and market leading maritime technology specialist offering autonomy, progression and excellent benefits package.
This globally recognised Marine Engineering company provide specialist infrastructure and technology services and are listed on the UK stock market. They are growing exponentially and are looking to make several hires due to the expansion of the product roadmap.
In this role you will work in an Agile/Scrum environment as part of a cross functional team to develop new applications and optimise existing functions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with REST API and have a good knowledge of JIRA, Git and Bitbucket. You will have experience with Android Studio, Jetpack + Kotlin OR WearOS.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Android Developer to work with organisation stakeholders and influence key business decisions in a leading Maritime Technology and Surveillance company.
The Role:
- Developing Android Applications
- Working in Agile/Scrum Environments
- Utilising JIRA to track progress
- Mon-Fri, Remote Working
The Person:
- Experience working with REST API
- Version control using Git and Bitbucket
- Android Studio, Jetpack + Kotlin, WearOS
- Good understanding of common design patterns such as MVC, MVVM
