Salary One of our local authority clients are currently recruiting for a Senior Application Analyst. This is a temporary contract for 3 months with possible further extension based on budget and performance.
Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary
The role of the Senior Applications Analyst will be to support and assist in the provision of technical support and documentation for Service Charges & Major works to include billing and reconcilliation within NEC Housing.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Reconciliation of Major Works and Service Charge information to produce bills as per the billing cycle.
* Support project work as a subject matter expert enabling projects to be delivered on time and to the required quality.
* Support the application release and deployment management process so that all phases are undertaken before release into production.
* Install and configure software upgrades and provide on-going technical maintenance and usage support of business applications.
* Provide on-going technical maintenance and usage support of business applications.
* Specify, implement, install and configure new third party business applications to ensure that the solutions meet the needs of the service area, liaising with project managers and suppliers where necessary.
* Analyse, define, configure and implement interfaces between business applications to provide integrated solutions.
* Understand the security threats posed by/to applications that are accessible via the internet, devising and implementing security measures.
