Job Title: Senior Application Integration Architect
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: Until end of August 2024
 
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Integration Architect who can hit the ground running. This short-term, high-impact role involves designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions, with a strong emphasis on challenging integrations. The successful candidate will work on integrating multiple systems into a new platform, managing numerous integration layers.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement enterprise-level application and solution designs that meet the organization's needs and objectives.
• Design and manage complex integrations involving multiple systems and layers, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Quickly understand project requirements, define technical solutions, and lead the execution of integration projects within the specified timeframe.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, Stakeholders and business analysts, to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Provide expert guidance, leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices in application and integration architecture.
• Ensure all designs and implementations are well-documented and comply with organizational standards and policies.

 
Key Experience:

• Previous or current experience in application, solution, and integration architecture at an enterprise level.
• Extensive experience with complex system integrations, including middleware, API management, and data synchronization.
• Platforms: Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Azure (preferred but not essential).
• CRM Systems: Familiarity with CRM systems and their integration (preferred but not essential).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenging integration scenarios.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and start contributing immediately due to the short-term nature of the role.
