, This is a fixed term/secondment post until 17/08/2025., , If you are a Hywel Dda University Health Board employee and are applying for this post as a secondment, agreement for the secondment is needed from your current manager prior to application., , We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with an interest in healthcare science to support our Pharmacy team in the day to day running of the Pharmacy Department at Bronglais General Hospital., , The Pharmacy team is forward thinking and continually strives to improve the delivery of patient focused pharmaceutical care and optimise the use of medicines within the Health Board., , This is a fixed term post,  37.5 hours  per week. You must have excellent organisational and communication skills and you will need to be able to work effectively with the existing team within the pharmacy department., , Main duties of the job, , The successful candidate will work within a team of Senior Technical Officers, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists in providing a wide range of Pharmaceutical Services within the hospital setting. You will be given specific training to help develop your skills., , Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above. To hold a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in pharmacy, community or hospital is desirable but not essential, as full support and supervision will be provided to complete the NVQ Level 2 qualification in pharmacy services., , This post offers an exciting and unique opportunity for a pharmacy assistant to have a varied role.
