Job description

This is a part-time role, working 3 days a week.
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Senior Operations Support Associate to join our team as we strive to deliver excellence to our partners. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be supporting the build-out and running of key initiatives across the Corporate Technology portfolio. Conducting finance and resource data analysis and supporting pivotal initiatives as required, including cost management, financial journals and PowerBI dashboard creation.
The Senior Associate, Operations Support will be responsible for supporting the implementation of best practice and maturing of processes, ensuring it remains closely aligned to both the Group wide Change Framework and divisional governance as required. The LSEG Project Management Policy defines the approach that must be followed by all projects, and details of the approach are documented in the Change Framework, which defines governance, processes, and artefact templates.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of dashboards to support the management of the Corporate Technology Inorganic Change portfolio.
  • Handle monthly reporting cycles.
  • Assist with managing the financial health of the team.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Operations function in line with the changing needs of the wider Inorganic Change department as it is scaled.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and portfolio leads to accurately forecast future Inorganic Change activity and the impact on resource demand.
  • Coordinate the Separation, Integration and Transformation portfolios with focus on cost management and creation of governance packs.
  • Adopt and embed best practice into all new projects through the alignment to the Change Framework.
  • Coordinate and support Programme and Project Managers to adhere to all LSEG governance and internal processes.
  • Ensure all in-flight projects are handled appropriately, with tasks, risks and issues delegated and reviewed where vital.
  • Proactive resource forecasting that allows for a robust recruitment process that incorporates Diversity and Inclusion
  • Partner with PMO and other internal stakeholders to ensure governance and reporting requirements are adhered to and managed effectively.
  • Continuously adopt a pragmatic, flexible, and adaptable approach.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment that values diversity and different viewpoints.
  • Apply judgement to assess the relative importance of assigned tasks and prioritises effectively.
Skills & Experience
  • Good reporting and governance experience
  • Demonstrable operations and data analysis experience.
  • Solid experience working closely with Director level team members to better equip them to work effectively, proactively, and efficiently.
  • Experience supporting and building business dashboards to drive strategic decision making and team management.
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries.
  • Strong risk management/awareness.
  • Strong understanding of the change management process / lifecycle and its practical application.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively as needed to deliver against Corporate Technology objectives.
  • Demonstrated track record as a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize among competing demands; ability to wear multiple hats and be both a "thinker" and a "doer".
  • Experience of working with multiple ‘Corporate technologies’, to enable recognition of interdependencies in end-to-end processes that bisect functional boundaries (JML etc).
  • Highly motivated / Strong work ethic – Proven dedication to adapt and champion time sensitive/important processes operating in a global and matrix-type organization.
  • A continuous desire and willingness to learn and develop your current knowledge and abilities.
  • Fast learner and able to link diverse sources of information to our business including ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion.
  • Excellent communicator - ability to communicate findings in a compelling manner to internal and external audiences which include senior level executives.
  • Strong analytical capability, with ability to generate powerful insights and the communication skills required to make the numbers come alive by clearly conveying complex information in a way that supports decision making.
