Senior Associate/Hod - Commercial Litigation

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven 4 years+ PQE Lawyer to lead their busy dispute resolution department. The Firm are seeking an individual to lead the department of 2 Lawyers and 1 Paralegal with an eagerness to contribute to the team's growth. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for you to demonstrate your excellent people skills, strong organisational and time management abilities, and proficiency in IT.
This position is ideal for a solicitor with demonstrated expertise, a commitment to exceptional client care, and a track record of strong billing. While prior experience as a Head of Department is advantageous, it is not essential.

Type of work
The role will replace an existing Lawyers caseload of mainly Civil Litigation with some more limited Commercial Litigation work.
The current caseload is split as follows:

• Contested probate claims (70%)
• TOLATA claims (10%)
• Other commercial and civil litigation, including professional negligence and construction disputes (20%)

It does not involve dealing with personal injury and medical negligence work, the Firm have members of staff dealing exclusively with these areas.
