  • Ensure Global Compliance: Scrutinize vendor documentation for adherence to project and process specifications, especially regarding hazardous areas.
  • Build the Automation Backbone: Develop control philosophies, functional designs, I/O lists, and interface requirements for seamless integration with external systems.
  • Document with Clarity: Create and refine philosophies, block drawings, and datasheets for all systems.
  • Sharpen the Design Edge: Support and review design work, drawings, layouts, cable schedules, and interconnection diagrams, optimizing the scope of works.
  • Safety First: Contribute to HAZOP, SIL, and design reviews, and conduct FATs for control systems. Functional safety experience is a valuable asset.
  • Embrace Standards: Possess a deep understanding of national and international standards like IEC, ISA, BSI, NFPA, ANSI, ASME, and API.
  • Future: Experience in cloud environments, cyber security, machine learning and more would be a significant bonus

Who You Are:

  • A proven engineering whiz, possibly degree qualified and with a relevant number of years' experience, ideally in the Oil and Gas Industries (applicants without a degree, with increased experience are encouraged to apply).
  • An PLC programming maestro, comfortable navigating various PLC platforms and their intricacies. Comfortable to pick-up projects on day-1.
  • A safety champion, well-versed in safety standards like IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
  • A tech-savvy wizard, adept at utilizing all relevant engineering and design software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead both technical discussions and project teams.
  • A project management pro, skilled in planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Bonus points: Experience in the green energy industry and/or a passion for sustainability!

What We Offer:
