You will take ownership of a varied set of projects for complex projects.

Senior Automation Engineer - The Role:
- To Lead Automation Design Projects from Concept
- Design and test control systems: PLC, SCADA, Robotics
- Produce specifications, plans and cost analysis
- Produce appropriate documentation for proposals and customer document packs
- Actively develop the skills of other team members
- Liaise with customers and suppliers throughout the project cycle
Senior Automation Engineer - The Person:
- A higher education qualification in a relevant field and more than 3 years' experience in a related role in industry
- Willingness to travel UK wide (20% of time) to develop solutions
- Expertise programming PLC's to an advanced level, producing high quality, well formatted programs
- A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this to practical problems
- An understanding in electrical principles and DC circuits
- Flexible to work on a variety of PLC platforms requiring strong ladder and structured text programming skills
- Hands on experience of assembly and test of automated solutions
- Current p assport and driving license.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with KUKA robot systems
- Experience with Beckhoff and/or Omron PLC Software
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Located in Stirlingshire, Scotland, this role would be commutable from Lanarkshire, Fife and surrounding areas.
