Job description

High Pay long term contract opportunity with A global leader in sustainable aviation technology have an opportunity to work with them on a cutting edge development. The client are looking for an engineer/Technician with high quality instrumentation and sensors knowledge, you will be required to assist in the commissioning, fault finding and flight test support systems on aircraft, as well as support to various ground test rig instrumentation systems. This will enable you to gain access to working across multiple environments and locations (around Bristol/ Kemble) including being part of live real time testing and development of the next gen. technology.

Electrical Technician Engineer

Any experience with the following is ideal;

  • Data acquisition units, ideally Curtiss Wright KAM500, Lord Microstrain and / or Dewesoft / Dewetron data acquisition units.
  • Electrical/Electronics familiarity/ background
  • Component Fault finding/ wiring/crimping
  • Familiarity with sensors comprising of strain gauges, accelerometers, thermocouples, potentiometers and aircraft data bus tapping's.
  • The position is currently being assessed and an IR35 status will be given. 

Any experience in Aviation/aerospace/automotive developments is beneficial but not essential
