Main Responsibilities as a Senior Azure Platform Engineer

• Be responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of Azure cloud solutions and Entra ID. This role requires expertise in Entra ID, Azure cloud services, virtual infrastructure, and networking concepts, as well as a strong understanding of Active Directory Domain Services and its integration with Azure services enabling Single Sign On.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and spearhead the design and implementation of a new Azure-based Datacentre environment.

Experience & Skills Required

• Maintaining and enhancing Entra ID practices.
• Implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions and infrastructure.
• Providing guidance on network security, Azure Policies, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup and Azure security and governance mechanisms.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to recognize challenges and offer solutions.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)
• Implementing Azure Backup and backup Policies.
• Azure networking concepts with zero-trust implementationsIAC utilising Terraform and GitHub.
• Application migration from data centre to Azure
• Working in a highly secure environment, implementing zero trust strategies.
