SalaryThe Therapies Directorate are looking for a Senior Booking Clerk for Dietetics and Speech and Language Therapy Outpatient Service. at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals.
The role involves managing the outpatient waiting lists and the management and supervision of the Dietetic and Speech and Language Administrative teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the transformation of therapy outpatient administrative processes. You will need excellent communication skills and be dedicated to providing an efficient and effective service. You will work closely with members of the management and administrative teams to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
• Take the lead role for managing Dietetic and Speech and Language outpatient waiting lists including processing referrals and making appointments.
• Plans and coordinates Dietetic and Speech and Language outpatient clinics
• Facilitate in service improvement to streamline a patient's journey and to ensure that the Trust delivers a quality service and gold standard of patient care.
• Manage and supervise administrators in the Dietetic and Speech and Language Administrative Teams.
• Manage and prioritise own workload, whilst continuing to provide supervision to the administrative teams on a daily basis.
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.

The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients – the first of its kind in the country.
