Your Purpose:
Are you ready to lead the charge in forging impactful Brand Partnerships and driving brand excellence within our Commercial & Strategy (C&S) team?
As our Senior Brand Partnership Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering on our Brand Partnerships strategy and elevating our global presence. Reporting directly to the Brands Partnership Director and embedded within the Consumer Excellence team, you’ll align our Brand Partnerships with the overarching goals of our organization.
You'll navigate the complex landscape of partnership opportunities, leveraging your expertise to identify and capitalize on emerging trends in film, music, culture, and sports, which elevate our Coors, Miller Genuine Draft and Staropramen brands. Current partnerships include teaming up with Beatport to launch the ‘Miller Mix Series’, and naming Orlando Bloom as Staropramen’s Brand Ambassador.
This is an opportunity to work globally on high-stakes projects with budgets reaching into the millions.
You’ll be based from home, with regular travel (approximately five trips per year) across Europe to engage directly with partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Leading the development and execution of long-term Brand Partnership strategies to enhance brand equity and support sustainable growth across EMEA and APAC regions. Identify, negotiate, and establish new co-branding partnerships to accelerate brand equity and business growth.
- Portfolio Asset Production: Leading the production of a portfolio of assets for partnerships, experiential events, endorsements, co-brandings, and sponsorships to energize our brands and solidify their position as the preferred choice for consumers and customers.
- Execution of Bold Brand Growth Initiatives: Co-developing and supporting the execution of bold and decisive moves in the areas of partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships. Defining and executing Brand Partnership initiatives that resonate with consumers, strengthening brand connections and driving frequency of engagement.
- Performance Monitoring: Actively monitoring the performance of partnerships and collaborations on a divisional level, assessing engagement, budget spend, ROI, communication effectiveness, and overall performance. Ensuring that sponsorship and collaboration programs are properly budgeted and managed to optimize return on investment.
- Negotiation and Stakeholder Management: Leading negotiations for sponsorship, endorsement, collaboration, and co-branding deals, preparing necessary narratives and arguments for successful outcomes. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to garner support and alignment for partnership initiatives.
- Best Practice Sharing and Innovation: Co-leading and supporting best practice sharing across regions for partnership, collaboration, and endorsement cases within EMEA&APAC. Collaborating with brand teams to deliver high engagement around partnership territories and contributing to the development of innovative marketing strategies.
About You:
With markets and operational landscapes varying widely across regions, you'll need to adapt quickly and creatively to meet the demands of diverse audiences. Your ability to navigate licensing agreements, coupled with your knack for building relationships, will be key in driving success for our brands.
From a technical standpoint, you'll have already gained exposure to partnership deal structures, talent management, and contract negotiation. Your understanding of the partnership ecosystem will be vital.
You’ll have:
- Experience in marketing, sponsorship, and/or partnership roles, with a proven track record of defining and executing successful partnership programs. This would likely be in a Brand Partnership or Controller role.
- Success in negotiating major deals and managing budgets.
- Knowledge of the European/EMEA APAC market in FMCG industries.
- Technical skills in defining brand/partnership/sponsorship strategies and execution at a multi-country level.
- Deep understanding of collaborations, partnerships, and successful communication development.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic, out-of-the-box, solution-oriented thinking.
- Proven negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with markets/regions and drive results.
