Job description

Our team, part of the wider Brokerage and Billing Team, is responsible for sourcing and securing domicilary care services on behalf of our community teams for Older Persons and Physical Disability service users with eligible social care needs.

In your role you’ll provide the highest standard of support and communication to all internal and external stakeholders including Care Providers and our Adult Social Care Teams, to ensure delivery of key messages and consistency of processes and procedures in line with operational and business requirements.

Take a look at our Candidate Pack for more information about the role, team and our values.  The section ‘About you’ explains what specific knowledge, skills and experience we want you to tell us about.  Make sure you explain how you meet these requirements and demonstrate our values, in your application.

You’ll use your excellent team working and organisational skills to help coordinate the work of a team of Brokerage Officers and support them with their queries. Using your customer-focused approach, you’ll take responsibility to resolve more complex queries and support stakeholders with their queries generated via email, phone or face-to-face.

Our Residential Team has daily engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including operational teams, acute hospitals, our contact centre, care providers and clients/representatives. Your confidence to communicate with people at all levels will enable you to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues and to undertake challenging conversations when required, which will be key in the smooth running of our busy team.

In return, we are committed to your continued personal development and offer an extensive Benefits package.

Values Based Recruitment

We recruit for attitudes and values in Adults’ Health and Care. We invite you to evidence how you demonstrate our 5 core values in your application.  For more information on our values, please refer to the candidate pack.
