Our client is looking for an experienced Building Physics Consultant to join their well-established, leading Sustainability Consultancy within the Built Environment. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial, Education, Health, and Retail sectors.
Senior Building Physics Consultant Requirements:
- BSc/MSc degree in Architecture, Sustainability, Engineering, Physics or similar
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience using CAD software and IESVE
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of construction design stages and contractor responsibilities
- Knowledge of M&E systems
- Experience in CFD simulations (Desirable)
Senior Building Physics Consultant Duties:
- Provide clients with technical & strategic advice on services
- Manage Key Client Accounts, developing long-term and constructive relationships
- Prepare high quality reports for clients
- Collaborate with the design teams on range of innovative and high-profile developments
- Thermal Comfort & Overheating, Daylight Sunlight & Overshadowing, Internal Daylight Modelling, LZC Feasibility Studies
- Building Regulations Compliance, SAP/SBEM, Thermal Bridging, Energy Strategy, Energy Statements, Carbon Management Plans
