We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst on behalf of our client, a highly regarded and very well-known Lloyd's / London market business.

The key purpose of the role is to support the IT Development management team in the delivery of various different projects and assignments, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of IT and business-led projects in the process, with a focus on Business / Process Analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the shaping of strategic initiatives.
• Mapping current and future state business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Developing and documenting business requirements.
• Working with System Developers to design and develop solutions.
• Gaining exposure to system development tools as needed.
• Designing, planning and managing user acceptance testing of solutions.
• Assisting with the implementation of business process change.
• Supporting the IT Department in the delivery of IT led projects with a focus on the following tasks - Project Planning and Initiation; Risk and Issue Management; Stakeholder Identification and Management; Progress Reporting and Metrics; Project Delivery.

Key Requirements

• Strong Business Analyst experience gained within the Lloyd's / London Market, ideally with a background in IT.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
